Australian pop girl group Bardot is coming back together for the first time in 25 years at Mighty Hoopla Sydney.
Belinda Chapple, Tiffany Wood, Sally Polihronas and Katie Underwood confirmed today they will reunite to perform at Bondi Beach on February 21.
The group formed in 1999 on the reality television series Popstars, which led to their debut single Poison entering the Australian charts at number one.
Bardot released two albums during their time together, Bardot and Play It Like That, with a Greatest Hits album released in 2021.
The group previously performed at the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras in 2002 before splitting later that year.
While four members are returning, it has not yet been confirmed whether fifth member Sophie Monk will rejoin the group.
Bardot joins an already stacked line-up, including a 60-minute set from Kesha, performing her Tits Out Tour show as it travels around Australia.
Becky Hill, Countess Luann, Delta Goodrem, Jamelia, Jessica Mauboy, Rogue Traders, Rose Grey and Tom Aspaul round out the top-billed acts, with exclusive Sydney performances.
Across four stages and eight hours, the festival will feature non-stop music, with performances from well-known drag kings and queens, as well as some of Sydney’s top DJs.
